To bolster its effort to fight childhood obesity, the Florida Sports Hall of Fame has partnered with USF’s Denise Edwards, MD, assistant professor of internal medicine and pediatrics and director of the USF Healthy Weight Clinic. TEAMS Center success will magnify at CAMLS

Since opening the TEAMS Center two years ago, the simulation training program has hosted more than 2,600 learners and provided more than 12,000 learner hours to healthcare professionals from varied disciplines throughout the Tampa Bay area and from as far away as China. USF’s Bringing Science Home gets $2M challenge grant

Sarasota, FL (Oct. 3, 2011) — The Patterson Foundation announced today that it has extended its $5.6 million collaborative partnership with USF Health for the Bringing Science Home initiative from three years to five years. In addition, The Patterson Foundation announced a dollar-for-dollar matching challenge up to $2 million for donations benefiting Bringing Science Home.
