Dr. Fenske elected president of Noah Worcester Society
Dr. Neil A. Fenske, professor and chair of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at USF Health, was elected 2010 president of the Noah Worcester Dermatological Society at the society’s 52nd annual meeting April 21 to 25 in Amelia Island, FL.
The prestigious “by invitation only” national society is named for Noah Worcester, the author of the first American textbook on dermatology, published in 1845. The first meeting of the society was held in 1958 and meetings have been held yearly since that time.

The membership is selectively limited to nurture high-caliber academic standards and focuses on providing unsurpassed scientific programs.
Dr. Fenske, an expert in skin cancer and melanoma, spoke on actinic keratoses at this year’s annual meeting. In 1994, he was the recipient of the society’s Larry Goldberg Award for Most Outstanding Paper for his article on “Cutaneous Intrinsic Aging Changes.”
He served on the society’s Board of trustees from 1998 to 2001.
