A new front door for USF Health

Here’s a first look at the newest changes planned for the renovations of the USF Health campus. Above is an illustration of the new USF Health Welcome Center.

The Welcome Center will give USF Health a new “front door” and take the place of the old clinic at the southeast corner of Bruce B Downs Blvd. and Holly Drive.

The inside of the clinic will be gutted to create the center, which will give a new home to the services that students need, such as admissions, the registrar and financial aid. It will give students a new place to gather and to get career help.

The Welcome Center project is part of a larger facelift going on at the College of Medicine complex. Last month, renovations to the auditorium and student learning spaces were completed. Future plans also include renovating lecture halls and improving the north and south courtyards.
