Dr. M. Jason Highsmith, Associate Professor with the USF Health School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, was recognized as editor and contributing author in the current special topics issue of Technology and Innovation, Journal of the National Academy of Inventors. This issue was released on October 6, 2016, and focuses on clinical research, measurable outcomes, and innovative technology for the rehabilitation of patients using prosthetic devices. Publications within this issue resulted from grant funding by the Department of Defense, American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA), and OTTO BOCK Healthcare. SPTRS faculty and staff coauthoring in this journal include Dr. William S. Quillen, Dr. Rebecca Miro, Ms. Michele Houston-Hicks, and recent DPT graduates Dr. Claire Millman (DPT 2016), Dr. Ashley Fuller (DPT 2016), and Dr. Amanda Lewandowski (DPT 2011).
