As participants in the USF Health Service Corps, 31 DPT students participated in the CATCH Fair with Catholic Mobile Charities at Tampa Bay Downs Race Track on January 31. “Committed Action to Community Health (CATCH) gives DPT students a wonderful opportunity to practice some “hands-on” skills and provide health prevention information to a most appreciative group of folks,” according to Sandy Quillen, PT, DPT, PhD, FACSM, Director of SPTRS. Track employees were invited to discuss health concerns with USF Health SPTRS during the evening fair. Dr. Kevin Murdoch, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the USF Physical Therapy Center joined Dr. Quillen as a faculty volunteer for the event.
