Dr. Seok Hun Kim (middle above) with the University of South Florida (USF) School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (SPT&RS) and Dr. Kyle Reed, Associate Professor with the USF College of Engineering recently had their paper published in the Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation. Dr. Matthew Lazinski (right above) and Dr. Rebecca Edgeworth Ditwiler (left above) from USF STP&RS are also co-authors for this paper. The paper is titled “Relearning functional and symmetric walking after stroke using a wearable device: a feasibility study.” The study looked at gait impairment among patients who have suffered a stroke, and the use of new device to help with gait rehabilitation.
