Charlotte, NC was the place to be last week when the 2014 House of Delegates (HOD) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) carried out policy-making for the organization. Three USF DPT3 students served as volunteer ushers during the proceedings: Zazu Garate, Casey Hodgin, and Stephanie Vaughn, pictured here with Dr. Gina Musolino, chief delegate, FL and Coordinator of Clinical Education, Associate Professor, USF SPTRS. The energetic ushers assured the efficient and effective work of nearly 500 delegates to the APTA HOD, where 23 motions were considered and acted upon. The meeting took place in conjunction with the ‘NEXT Conference and Exposition,’ the annual meeting of APTA.
