A manuscript by Dr. John Mayer, Lincoln Endowed Chair of Biomechanical & Chiropractic Research and Coordinator of Research for the SPTRS, has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Back and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation. “Ultrasound measurements of lumbar multifidus and abdominal muscle size in firefighters” will appear in an upcoming issue of the journal.

The article cites USF research data made possible from a FEMA grant on low back injury prevention in firefighters, and was co-authored by JL Nuzzo and D Haun.
