Dr. Barbara Wagner (pictured middle) was recently recognized as the first culture champion for the USF Health School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitative Sciences (SPT&RS).  Dr. Wagner is interim director of Clinical Education for SPT&RS. Over the summer, she mentored a new clinical education team while serving as director of clinical education.  Dolly Swisher, PT, PhD, FAPTA, director of SPT&RS, recognized Dr. Wagner during this critical time for student clinical education for her:

– Unwavering dedication and caring for students.

– Innovative solutions and continuous communication, even during an unanticipated leave to Scranton, Penn.

– Courage and resiliency for going the “extra mile” to support students in clinical education.

– Fostering an environment to grow.  She continually pushed students, faculty and clinical educators to embrace a culture of learning and excellence.

Dr. Swisher recently presented Dr. Wagner SPT&RS’ first culture coin during a short ceremony.
