Our 2018-2019 Orthopaedic Residents, Caroline Schlais, PT, DPT (left), and Mason Staggs, PT, DPT (right), both recently passed the Orthopaedic Specialization Exam. They are both now board-certified clinical specialists in orthopaedic physical therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS).
Dr. Schlais and Staggs are the 5th and 6th graduates of our USF Health SPT&RS Orthopaedic Residency Program. Their passing and certification continues our 100% pass and certification rate for our Orthopaedic Residency Program. Our residency graduates currently practice in Ohio, Florida, and Wisconsin.
Dr. Aimee Klein, USF Health School of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Sciences (SPT&RS) Orthopaedic Residency Program Director stated “I am extremely proud of our residents and program outcomes, especially for being a fairly young residency program only starting a few years ago. Our outcomes are due to the hard work that not only our residents put in, but also the faculty & staff who support the program.”
