Rebecca Lopez, PhD, ATC, CSCS, Associate Professor in Athletic Training and Post-Professional Advances Atheltic Training Program Director recently received the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) Atheltic Trainer Service Award (ATSA). This award recognizes NATA members for their contributions to the athletic training profession as a volunteer at the local and state levels. ATSA recipients have been involved in professional associations, community organizations, grassroots public relations efforts and service as a volunteer athletic trainer. No other award, NATA or otherwise, is a prerequisite for eligibility for the ATSA.
To be eligible for the athletic trainers must meet the following criteria NATA member in good standing, 20 years of BOC certification, and 20 years of membership with NATA.
