Faculty Member Receives Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA) Linda Crane Research Grant

 

Dr. Jamie Holloway was recently awarded the Linda Crane Research Grant by the Florida Physical Therapy Association at their annual conference in Orlando. The Linda Crane Research Grant has been given out each year in honor of Dr. Linda Crane who was a dedicated member of the profession of physical therapy.

Dr. Holloway’s research interests include:

  • Motor characteristics of children with autism spectrum disorder
  • Improving function and participation in children with developmental disabilities
  • Contemporary service delivery models for early intervention under Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act

She plans to use the grant to conduct a study entitled, Interrelationships Between Motor Ability and Social Function in Toddlers with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
