Faculty Attend ELC

Last weekend Dr. Douglas Haladay, Associate School Director and Associate Professor and Dr. Stephanie Anderson, Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Professor both attended the Educational Leadership Conference (ELC) in Bellevue, Washington. The conference is a collaborate effort between the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy and the Academy of Physical Therapy Education designed to excite, educate, invigorate, and facilitate discussion among all stakeholders in physical therapy education.

They presented a poster on Clinical Education: Revitalization and Redesign that was completed by Dr. Stephanie Anderson, Dr. Douglas Haladay, Dr. Barbara Wagner, Dr. Laura Lee (Dolly) Swisher, and Dr. Heidi Piccione.

Dr. Haladay also gave a presentation titled: ELI Leadership Projects: TED-like Talks from Emerging Faculty Leaders with his fellow American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Education Leadership Institute (ELI) graduates. He discussed his APTA ELI leadership project: Development of  Interprofessional Spine Center: An UpHill Road.
