Dr. Tajiri Represents SPTRS at Regenerative Rehabilitation Symposium

Dr. Naoki Tajiri, Assistant Professor in the School of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Sciences and the Department of Neurosurgery & Brain Repair, is a recipient of a travel award to attend the 3rd Annual Symposium on Regenerative Rehabilitation in San Francisco, CA on April 10-11, 2014.

Dr. Tajiri will present “Hyperbaric oxygen treatment and exercise therapy attenuate behavioral and histological deficits in adult rats exposed to experimental traumatic brain injury.”

Regenerative rehabilitation is an emerging field that translates discoveries in tissue engineering and cellular therapies into treatments that benefit the functional outcomes of patients. The symposium will be attended by researchers, clinicians, physicians, and physical therapists in the fields of regeneration and rehabilitation.
