Bini Thomas, PT, DPT, MSA, Ed.D., Assistant Professor recently received an award from the Physical Therapy Learning Institute (PTLI) for her presentation during the ACAPT and APTA Educational Leadership Conference (ELC) this fall. Her presentation Clinical Instruction: An Intrinsic Motivational Factor in the Professional Development of Physical Therapists has received the PTLI’s Education Influencer Award.

PTLI’s mission is to provide LEADERSHIP and advocacy to challenge the status quo and drive innovation in physical therapy education, research, and practice.  The PTLI Influencer Award is given to a presentation that has the potential to have a positive influence toward excellence in PT education and is consistent with the vision and mission of PTLI.
