DPT Students Present at “Free to Play” PAMA Conference

Third-year DPT students Samantha Klotz and Jessica Whitney, along with SPTRS faculty Dr. Aimee Klein, recently presented a poster at the 1st Southeast Regional Meeting of Performing Arts and Medicine Association (PAMA) held in Tampa. Their poster was titled “The Relationship of Biomechanical Factors, Turnout, And Lower Extremity Musculoskeletal Injuries in Ballet Dancers.

The “Free To Play” conference featured a broad spectrum of topics relating to Performing Arts Medicine: Arts in Medicine, Education of Performing Artists, Artists’ Mind and Body, Healing and Treatment for Artists and Healing and Treatment of Patients using the Arts.
