DPT 2018 Students Present on Gait Modification

Kelsey Ulliman, Brian Bernal, Sarah Besaly, and Sarah Woody, students in the USF DPT Class of 2018, presented their research project at the USF Health Research Day 2018. Entitled, “Gait Modification Following Asymmetrical Rhythmic Auditory Cueing,” their project revealed that specific training can alter and modify a subject’s gait symmetry. Dr. Huny Kim and Dr. Kyle Reed served as the group’s research mentors.  Dr. Kim is an Associate Professor in the USF Health School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences; Dr. Reed is an Associate Professor in the USF College of Engineering.
