Athletic Training Faculty and Student Featured in Climate Change Series

Rebecca Lopez,  PhD, ATC, CSCS, FNATA – Professor and Assistant School Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (left), Gary Cohen, PhD, LAT, ATC – Assistant Professor (right) and some of our current athletic training students were featured in the WEDU PBS series on climate change. Dr. Lopez discusses the importance of heat monitoring of our athletes and bodies, and they demonstrated some of the techniques to quickly lower and/or control body temperature. The feature also includes our colleagues in USF Athletics Sports Medicine.
