Dr. Donna Haiduven and colleague present at Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology conference
Global Health’s Donna Haiduven, PhD, and Christine McGuire-Wolfe, PhD, presented two poster presentations at the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) 40th Annual Conference and International Meeting. The event was held June 8-10 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Haiduven was first author and Dr. McGuire-Wolfe, second author, on a paper entitled “Subjective Evaluation of Winged Steel Phlebotomy Devices by Healthcare Workers.” Dr. McGuire-Wolfe was first author, and Dr. Haiduven, co-author, on a paper entitled “Unexpected Sharps Hazards for Emergency Medical Services Personnel and Firefighters.”
The USF College of Public Health offers online programs in infection control that lead to a graduate certificate and MPH degree. Dr. Haiduven directs both infection control programs.
