The Florida Covering Kids & Families (FL-CKF) Program at the Lawton Rhea Chiles Center for Healthy Mothers and Babies, was awarded a two-year, $1 million grant from the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on August 18th, 2011. Kyle and Manetsch Receive New R01 from NIAID for Antimalarial Drug Discovery

Dr. Dennis Kyle (Global Health) and Dr. Roman Manetsch (Chemistry) have been awarded a new multiple PI five year R01 from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). The project entitled “Validation of New Antimalarial Leads” was awarded under the RFA for NIAID Partnerships with Product Development Public-Private Partnerships.
