Dr. Yangxin Huang, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, has been awarded the USF Proposal Enhancement Grant entitled “Modeling and Analysis for HIV/AIDS Longitudinal and Survival Data”. Professor Wil Milhous has been elected to the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Inaugural Class 2011 of Fellows – FASTMH. Fellow member status (FASTMH) is an honor recognizing sustained professional excellence in tropical medicine and global health.  Milhous is a thirty year member of the Society, Founder and Co-Chair of the ASTMH Committee on Global Health, and is past recipient of the  ASTMH LePrince Medal for outstanding work in the field of malariology, as well as the Ashford Medal for distinguished work in tropical medicine.
