Update on Kimberly Rogers
Kimberly Rogers recently completed a three year assignment with the CDC (the Public Health Associate Program, where she was placed at the Hillsborough County Health Department and worked on communicable disease intervention and surveillance). In early June, Kimberly was contacted for a Public Health Quarantine Station opportunity…in Anchorage, AK. She interviewed and was offered the position. As to what she is currently doing…there are 20 CDC Quarantine Stations in the U.S., and Anchorage is one due to its ‘crossroads of the world’ location and for its importance in cargo shipments.
