Alumna directs program focused on Haiti and Uganda

Elizabeth L. Helfert, MPH (GH,’11), CPH works for Village Partners International, a Tampa-based non-profit focused on relief efforts in Haiti and Uganda. As program director, she is responsible for a little bit of everything—grant writing, program development, fundraising, research, and serves as a liaison with collaborators. Since graduating from the college, Helfert traveled to Haiti and plans to visit Uganda and Haiti this summer.  She resides in Maitland, Florida.
