USF SafetyFlorida and the USF OSHA Training Education Center host seminar

USF SafetyFlorida and the USF OSHA Training Institute Education Center recently hosted an occupational safety and health seminar for nursing home and residential care facility workers. The seminar, held January 16 in Jacksonville, had 25 participants in attendance. Topics discussed included ergonomic and chemical hazards, as well as hazards that cause slips, trips, and falls. The seminar was the third of five sessions offered this year in response to OSHA’s National Emphasis Program.
