Global Health Student Receives Grant

Christine McGuire-Wolfe (Global Health Doctoral Candidate) was recently awarded and EMS Research Grant from the Journal of Emergency Medical Services (JEMS) in cooperation with the Prehospital Care Research Forum.  The grant will fund survey research among multiple fire departments within Florida to investigate practices, beliefs, and knowledge of EMS providers and firefighters regarding hand hygiene.  This project is an expansion of a similar study conducted at the local level at Pasco County Fire Rescue. Congratulations Christine!
