It’s not often you witness a sailor, zombie and superhero breaking bread together, but such was the case at the USF College of Public Health’s annual Halloween Potluck.

The Department of Global Health hosted this year’s event in conjunction with the college’s 30th anniversary celebration. More than 60 ghouls, goblins and other freakish (a.k.a. students, faculty and staff) types dared to show up for the Friday festivities.

“The party was a great success,” said potluck co-coordinator Jessica Grossman, Global Health academic services administrator. “A special thank-you to the following people who helped with the planning and decorating for the party: Megan Ditizio, Shereena Farrington, Rocky Jalil, Wanda Martinez, Bunana Wakil, and Kay and Christopher White.”

“Nanci [Mendez] and I could not have pulled it off without their help!” Grossman said.

Prizes were awarded for the scariest, most original and funniest costumes. Click here to view a slide show from the event.
