The USF Health Morsani College of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences is hosting a series of events in May as part of its inaugural Mental Health Awareness Month initiative. All events are free and open to the public:
6 PM, Tuesday, May 3
A panel discussion on postpartum depression and movie screening of Dark Side of the Full Moon. Location: Tampa General Hospital, Room B104.
6 PM, Wednesday, May 4
Discussion on Alzheimer’s disease and movie screening of I’ll Be Me, a documentary on Glen Campbell’s farewell tour. Location: USF MDA 1209 (12901 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL 33612).
9 AM – 1 PM, Friday, May 6
Free memory screenings will be held at the department’s Memory Disorders Clinic. Screenings will be conducted in English and Spanish. Location: USF Psychiatry Center, 3515 E. Fletcher Ave., 3rd floor, Tampa, FL 33613. For information or directions, call (813) 974-3100.
